Chitwan district is located on the southwestern side of Bagmati Province which is around 180 K.M away from the capital city of Kathmandu. Normally Chitwan is renowned as Chitwan National Park (CPN) established in 1973, was Nepal’s first National Park that covers an area of 93,200 hectors extends over four districts: Chitwan, Nawalparasi, Parsa, and Makwanpur.
