Lower Mustang Trek is seen as a place where people can go for a trekking all year round. The destination has recently turned into an easily accessible trekkers heaven. Bikers, trekkers and nature lovers often complete this easy and relatively short trek circuit within 7 to 10 days. It is mostly famous for road trips.
Many people avoid traveling there in summer(monsoon). But Mustang blooms in rain, the trails are wide and unlike in the winter, they aren’t dusty at all. The place experiences rainfall and rain shadows which is an aesthetic experience. You walk through green lush forest and then come across rhododendrons, chipping birds, numerous Hindu and Buddhist pilgrims like Muktinath Temple. Visit Nepal's largest apple garden located in Marpha village.
From Pokhara you can get to Kagbeni via air or on a four wheeler. After you spend a day at the beautiful Kagbeni, your trek begins. You will then get to the holy temple of Muktinath via Ranipauwa, which takes around 3 hours to walk. After that, you will hike to Tukuche and then descend to the beautiful Kalopani which has a beautiful waterfall.
After visiting Kalopani, you will get to the beautiful Tili Lake and then return via Tatopani road to Pokhara again. This is not a particularly dangerous trail. In recent days it is very famous among all bike riders and mountain biking enthusiasts.

Lower Mustang Trek is a relatively easier trek compared to most of the treks available in Nepal. The stays and hotels are easily available. To complete this trek, you’d only need a moderate amount of fitness and during summer waterproof boots and rain jackets are super necessary.
